Since Chester’s Business Improvement District, or ‘BID’, was approved in 2014, plans have been underway to make the best of this new opportunity for Chester. The cathedral city of Chester is the county town of Cheshire and one of the best preserved and most beautiful cities in the UK. The unique Rows shopping galleries are the envy of the world and Chester’s medieval walls form the most complete circuit around any town or city in England.
It is without doubt the perfect place in which to shop, work, live and visit; and indeed over eight million visitors come to the City each year. It is the task of the CH1ChesterBID to ensure that this continues and improves.
